Thermal Impact Analysis and Electric–Thermal Coupled Modeling of Photovoltaic/Battery Space Power System with Different Surface Coatings

Thermal performance has long been recognized as a critical attribute for space systems. control surface coating is common method in passive thermal protection. Unfortunately, limited analyzing models and data on the influence of coatings’ α/ε (absorptivity/emissivity) power system have published to date. To fill this gap, we proposed multiphysics model that combined environmental temperature calculating electrical analysis together satellite system. In paper, different materials are applied radiator insulation surface, respectively. Additionally, new concept energy storage, named storage voltage, introduced. The results analyzed parametric fits with formulas using ordinary least squares conducted. Finally, change rules presented, which will prove particularly useful industry, example, designs on-orbit battery studies.
